MY ULTIMATE LOVE?! & A Small FOTD

you got that right! So this is a review of my HG concealer, and i recently discovered it. It's the Vichy Dermablend Skin Concealer. If you told me about Vichy, I would usually think skincare stuff, but who knew they had a makeup line! I was shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart, when the lady gave me a sample of this with my purchase. I went home, gave it a try, and fell in love!

Ability to Cover:
One Word. Amazing. This concealer covers generally ANYTHING on my face(at least for me). In the past, I've had to use different types of concealers such as liquid and gel concealer to cover my imperfections because I've got severe undereye circles, slight acne scarring, and some blemishes. I've found that this ONE concealer does the job for any imperfection on my face; from dark circles, to blemishes, to scarring, to dark spots, and more. The consistency is very light, but at the same time, it offers full coverage without the cakey look and feel to the skin. I find this blends very well for me, and never leaves streaking, or uneven color distribution. But ladies with dry skin beware; this concealer is slightly drying, and will look flaky if skin is not moisturized. I've got combination skin, so it works pretty well.
Lasting Time:
All day! I apply this in the morning at approximately 6:30 AM, then I remove it at 9:00 PM; and everything held up pretty well. Ofcourse, a little bit has worn off, but I think it still looks pretty good after 15+ hours.
Packaging/Price:
This concealer is packaged in a small white tube, which is great because we can be in reach of all the product, and nothing goes to waste. The tube comes in 0.5 fl.oz, but will last a long time because a little goes a long way. The product comes in 5 different shades, which sadly not everybody will be able to find a perfect shade for them. I wear the second lightest shade, 20 Nude. This normally retails for 23$ CAD, and approximately 18-19$ USD. In Canada, you can find this at most Shoppers Drug Mart stores, and I'm unsure where you can buy it in the US. Anywhere that carries Vichy products should have this available.

I used this concealer today:
I used:
Quo Foundation Primer
Vichy Dermablend Concealer
MAC Studio Fix Powder
NYX Angel Blush
MAC Rubenesque Paint Pot
MAC Ricepaper e/s
NYX Rust e/s
88 Palette (Light Orange and Medium Brown)
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara
NYX Tea Rose Lipstick

  5. Hi! Is this still available in Canada? It's my HG, too, and it JUST got discontinued here in the US! The regular Dermablend squeeze-tube (non-Vichy version) is still available at ULTA but I find it doesn't work as well as the Vichy.
