Hello girlies! So I think I've made it clear in the past that I'm Canadian... LOL and I hate the fact that Canada lacks so many good brands! Sonia Kashuk... Studio Tools... just to name a few. Also, the freaking CCO's are just an amazing deal. So I made a trip down to Buffalo, NY today for some shopping at the closest outlet mall to me, which was only a 2 hour trip. Not so bad! I went to the CCO at the outlet and I was honestly somewhat disappointed by the selection of MAC stuff. There wasn't a small selection but the products just weren't amazing. However, the Bobbi Brown selection was pretty good, and since I don't really have BB close to me, I decided to make my purchase lean more towards BB. Besides, the MAC stuff is actually more expensive than there MAC Warehouse Sales!
I decided to stop by a Target store because I've heard all the raves about the Sonia Kashuk brushes.. and I NEEDED to get myself some! I can't believe Canada doesn't have this. I can feel my heart slowly breaking.
Bobbi Brown Lipglosses
These three came in a set for $28, and it also comes with a leather makeup pouch. My mom fell in love with the set as soon as she saw it so I gave this to her. They've got some really gorgeous colors and the bright pink one is the most gorge!
Bobbi Brown Mohagany Gel Liner & Long Wear Cream Shadow in Stone
As soon as I saw the BB display, I knew I had to have some of the gel eyeliners! I've heard soo many raves about these, and Mohagany seemed like a nice color. However, when I got home, I noticed that it looked quite similar to MAC's Dipdown. But I think I'll like this better cause it's cool toned! The cream shadow looked soo pretty to me, so I got it. I've always heard great things about BB!
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer & Powder
This is the one with the set that included the Creamy Concealer on top, and the powder on the bottom! Again, I've heard so many good things about this. I had to have it!
Studio Tools Mineral Brush Set
Aren't these just adorable? I got this at Target, and it was 10$. I was soo attracted to this once I saw the cute little stippling brush! To my suprise, these are sooo soo soo good! I love three of the four brushes, and the powder brush disappoints me. It's scratchy and weird.. But nonetheless, the stippling brush is beyond amazing! It's firm, not very dense, but still great.
Bobbi Brown Makeup Remover & Non Smudging Mascara
I got these two together, and since I needed more makeup remover, I thought why not! I haven't used either one of these yet, but I'll let you know how it works!
Sonia Kashuk Out of the Woods Set
This one is the set with 6 brushes, and I've been eye-ing this on the target website for a while! Her brushes are such amazing quality, and I can't believe I've gone to the US sooo many times without picking these up! Kay... next time, I'm gonna get more brushes!
MAC Prep & Prime Skin Refined Zone + MAC Off the Page Eyeshadow
I've seen these two items at MAC sales before... but I held off buying them caused I knew I didn't need them. Off the Page is a gorgeous orange, and I've wanted it since it came out... I just thought it was gonna be useless. Not anymore! The P&P is the bomb! I didn't think I was gonna get it till I tried it on my hand in the store... *goes OMGWTFBBQ, this is so amazing! It filled in all the tiny lines on my hand!
Sonia Kashuk Blending Brush
K. I love you brush. Enough said. It's soft, it's dense, it's well made. Why wasn't it in my life earlier? To me, this seems like a cross between the 217 and the 224, cept smaller. I think this might actually be HG material!
Coach Wristlets
Okay, so the Coach outlet was having an additional 20% off factory store prices, and I couldn't resist! So I was a good girl.. and I bought one for myself, and three for my girlfriends since I know they all love these cute little wristlets.

I was at Buffalo yesterday LOL! Did so much damage ^^
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain--I swear that we're paying 1.5-2x the usual US prices AND some of the brands aren't even available in Canada :S

Great Haul hun!
ReplyDeleteLove the eye makeup and those Coach wristlets are so pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteNice haul! I also love your eye makeup as well. :) Btw, can I get the address to the outlet you went too? And how long did crossing the border take, and was it really complicated? I'm just wondering because I live in Toronto too. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe outlet that I went to is on 1900 Military Road in Niagara Falls, NY. I crossed the border on the Rainbow Bridge, and since I went on a long weekend, it took about 45 minutes including waiting in line. Since we're Canadian, it usually takes longer coming back from the US than going, since they ask you about your spendings and such!
ReplyDeleteI know!! Canada needs to get some of these brands!!! I want to try Sonia Kashuk and Studio Tools too!! *pouts*
